Murphy’s View: I sorry

Malleable Murphy here “chillaxing” to the max because, well, there was this one little incident last week. The one thing about hanging on the trawler is that when you see your buddy far off in the distance and you bolt over SEA AND LAND to visit him, well, let’s just say not everyone is exactly pleased with your behavior.

Yup, Magnificent Murphy is in the proverbial dog house with Mom and Dad. Oops, my bad.  Mom and me had our early morning jog about town and I met this great guy working in the park right by our trawler.  He just loved me!  After showering this nice man with lots of affection, Mom and me went back to the boat.  Mom started getting the lines ready to leave.  I didn’t want to leave without saying goodbye to that nice man. And I know, I know, Misbehaving Murphy shouldn’t’ve left the boat without Mom’s or Dad’s permission, but I just couldn’t help it.  Of course, now I know seemingly Mean Murphy put a mighty huge fright into Mom. And Dad…well, Dad was very angry with me and gave me a talking to once we got back on the boat.  I couldn’t even look at him when he was telling me how bad I was.  I will never, ever do THAT again. Mom was so sad, mad, and then glad right before she was mad again. Trotting under the radar, so to speak, is Mannered Murphy’s Modus Operandi. And yeah, I know what that means; I looked it up. But, really, I’m just biding my time until all is forgotten and forgiven and Magnificent Murphy returns to his proper perch.

Murphy you are quite the adventurer… I can’t understand why mom and dad would be so mad as they are the ones who have guided and mentored you into being adventurous. But Murphy, that was to the extreme and I think you’ve learned your lesson. No worries as your mom and dad will always love you.
